Never thought I would read a discussion on hair styles and dyes on this highly masculine site.

Me too.. but its not a cut and dry thing.... styles come and go.. "Hair Today.. gone tomorrow".

How do you become a millionnaire running and owning an EPL rugby club.

Start with £100m.

It might be DNS resolution failing and that service is provided automatically by your ISP.. although it can be changed to manual DNS IP settings to bypass what the ISP is automatically providing (i.e. point directly at google DNS servers instead)

Wasps Rugby Discussion / World Rugby qualification rules
« on: January 23, 2021, 06:10:04 PM »
There's been a bit of chat in media/forums about which players might choose which country to play for or hope which country chooses them.

If the same rules were to be applied to people (actors, politicans, monarchy, us) who don't play pro rugby.. but somehow managed to find themselves within in the selection pool.. under the spotlight, I wonder who might be picked to represent a country they barely know.

As far as I'm aware, the furthest qualification goes back to the country of birth of a grandparent.
5 yrs residency?

To start the ball rolling.

Would Prince William be available for selection to represent Greece?

On a personal level, I'd be able to represent Wales based on my granddad's country of birth.

Thanks to Vesp (and Raggs) we're allowed to post our own thoughts and opinions on Wasps, rugby and sometimes wider issues. I was disheartened by some of the comments on DM online but sometimes you have to take the rough with the smooth. Would those people say the same thing if they were standing in front of Paulo.. I doubt it but some people become warriors behind the keyboard.

I'm not sure I've publicly thanked Vesp and Raggs for all their hard work.. good work sirs.

They don't have to be under the cap for the previous season.... Just this season.

The clause in the cap that used to refer to the previous season has been removed this year

That clears things up.

So Ealing could throw £100m at player recruitment and contracts and they won't get pinged if they are promoted the following season.. but not this season?

Ealing could be sold a stake in PRL. Owen Slot from The Times (thank you Heathen) roughly estimated a share (A's + B's) might cost £20m and each club would then receive a £1.5m handout.

Thankfully Owen Slot is a journalist and not a business owner. He's forgotten CVC take roughly a 1/3rd of all ongoing revenue from the time they bought shares in PRL.

If Ealing are willing to pay £20m then CVC will receive about £6 - 7m.

If I was Ealing, I'd just dog it out for a couple of seasons. See which current PRL club can't sustain the overheads.. then buy their shares.

His what is being picked?

Hopfeully his brain and not his nose.

I'm still struggling to see how Sarries can be below the cap. They off-loaded various players to other clubs to hopefully bring themselves back under the cap for this season. Despite being in the Championship the PRL rules still apply. Those rules apply to the current campaign and the previous season.

Despite being a gobby wotsit I respect Ben Spencer for drawing a line under proceedings and signing for Bath.

Malin, Earle and Bristol.

Brizzle are the richest club so why did they agree to help Sarries out by reducing Sarries wage bill?

Why didn't Malin and Earle simply sign for Bristol.. do what Spencer did.. cut their losses and move on to pastures new..

In motorsport .. everyone looks at the person at the track doing fast laps .. they are the fastest person but there is someone else who's probably stacking bottles at that track who, given the chance, will have a better pace, but has never been given the opportunity.

Porter and Wolstie have grabbed every opportunity and haven't let Wasps down
