Sweeney statement, probably:

"The RFU are very disappointed that Jersey Reds decided to time this action to draw attention away from the World Cup..."

How much did Holland loan to Atlas? It was only about ?2 million wasn't it? That's damn cheap for a stadium!
If his only interest is the stadium then maybe he'll be willing to sell the Warriors club, brand and IP on for quite cheap if a supporters group/trust can get organised?

Oz conceded so many turnovers and have Michael Hooper sat at home...

So far England are the only team not to score a try. Even Romania managed to get one against Ireland.

Poor old Argentina. They're used to battling against brilliant teams like South Africa, NZ and Australia but we managed to bore them to death!

I don't think either of these decisions are going to assuage the Pacific Island nations' concerns over the disciplinary process.

Was any decision arrived at regarding Billy's red card?

Probably but for evening sittings they seem to wait until the next day to release -
However just read that the OF Board started at 7.30 AM and finally completed at 8.30 PM. A staggeringly insane length of time. I know it was different panels but maybe the Fat Bill one had to be delayed.

Just 13 hours of Owen saying "I'm sworry"...

It's very disappointing from Shaun. Jamie George barely lays a hand on him. Farrell has nowhere to go? He's stood practically upright! He just has to bend his knees.

My prediction: injuries to Ford, Watson and Itoje. Red card for Tuilagi.

I hope decisions like this are cited in the various ex-players lawsuits against RFU, World Rugby etc displaying how the authorities are not looking after player welfare.

What does/did the company do to rack up that kind of debt?

It'll be interesting to see if the media focuses on the celebrity girlfriends or his views on the RFU, Lancaster and Jones.
I'm sure there'll be some interesting views on Wasps too. Dai, Lewsey etc.

No need for the playoffs then if international players are available all season.

Wasps Rugby Discussion / Re: Details of London Irish collapse
« on: July 17, 2023, 12:48:34 PM »
A quick google of the timeline suggests that's not accurate. London Irish struggled/were late paying wages due at the end of April. As far as I can see the RFU didn't get involved until the 15th of May, setting the 31st of May deadline for the takeover (which the RFU then extended by a week).

After London Irish struggled to pay the wages at the end of April I think the RFU had to say/do something.
