Exeter did even less, which is Wonky?s point.

Really?
They took an academy player
, who had never played in a prem game & within a season he was an England international.....
If they had done nothing he would still be a squad player, which, if Wasps hadn't gone under, I suspect he still would be. IMO of course.
Why would that be? I?m not saying Wasps have done more than Exeter. Just that Exeter haven?t done much. He?s obviously a talent but most of his development was pre Wasps in Wales. That?s where the groundwork has been put in.

Wasps Rugby Discussion / So what do we think is happening?

I applaud what those trying to save the club are doing and support the mantra in play that only concrete news will be passed on. But just as an indulgence by uninformed fans for uninformed fans , what do you think the outcome to this period of uncertainty and inactivity will be. Options in play for me appear to be 1) Nothing at all. 2) As a founder member of prem 2 or 3) As a radical new entrant to the URC. What do others think?

It?s sheer lunacy. The worst idea since the 10 team league. Then again, what does the cap matter.

Financial shenanigans from Tigers. Standard. Who knows why they?ve done this. Reduce a future year they were worried about? Glad we?re out of the cesspit of self interest and ego.

Litigation could abound here if these deferrals are allowed. What a mess the game is in.

Great idea. Really like it.

What? I can?t believe these figures. I thought reducing to 10 teams was the answer. Three less home games was supposed to equal more revenue wasn?t it. Turns out it doesn?t - who?d have thought it.

I?ve also lost interest in the prem but just check the line ups to see where Wasps former players pop up.

These should have been banned long ago. Quite apart from these medical issues for rugby they make the game farcical in my opinion. They also cause injury.

Shoulder to shoulder for me. And let?s be honest Irish teams with O?Mahony in have got away with plenty in the recent past

Great news for me. Firstly a sign of life and secondly I?m glad we?re looking at relaunching outside of the corrupt and stale Premiership.

I think what fans of a lot of the other clubs don?t comprehend is that we?re not really calling for a leg up for Wasps, Irish or Wuss. What we?re saying is the game is in real peril. It?s beyond the parochial nuances of what?s right. It?s about the future of the game.
