Must have been terrifying for him. I said at the time that he was very lucky he was in the England environment with their medical facilities to investigate and implement remedial action quickly. If it were us we would likely be fobbed off for a while or even discounted it ourselves. Lucky guy to have it caught quickly.

The sobering thing is that it could happen to anyone, let alone a super fit sportsman.

Fingers crossed for Dan, that he makes Eddie's squad for RWC. He deserves it.
