House of Rugby- Hask talks about 2015 and says that DR (refers to him as the owner) was ready to push the knife in with all the other 9 owners who weren’t breaking the cap but overnight all that sentiment stopped and Hask was told that it got swept under the carpet- makes me feel like Wasps have usually been on the right side of it (other than the actual administrative oversight)

Also refused to pay him more for image rights because it would push them over the cap

Tindall and Haskell came across as very indifferent  to what Sarries have done.

They were talking as ex players almost jealous that they hadn't been given vineyards in SA. Tindall completely misses the point when saying "is there any benefit in pursuing this any further"... he seems to forget people pay money, either through tickets at games or subscriptions via media that all goes back to the clubs and players.

If supporters stop paying money to watch, either at games or on TV, because they feel what they are watching is somehow rigged, then the league will implode.

Agree with what you’re saying, think Tinds really isolates the disparity between his wage and the salary cap during his career and what it is now.
Did also mention that he’s a good friend of Wray so may be reluctant (understandably) to lay into him and Saracens.

Hask I think likes to make fun of it but did stray slightly on the Saracens have done wrong side but again doesn’t really want to push the boot in when he probably won’t get anywhere with his comments.

I think there’s a lot of players who don’t want to rock the boat too much knowing their voices won’t get anywhere (especially with the Hask and DR anecdote) but that the owners and media may get some action as we have seen so far.
