After my heart attack, January marked the start of a dry rest of my life. Anybody want the pack of Taunton Gold I have in my garage, left over from New Year?

I just doubted anyone in NI had a dry January!  They have more sense!

I didn't do dry January but did cut back drastically. However on Wednesday I found a low alcohol - not no alcohol - cask beer from Greene King at about 2.5% and to my jaded pallet it tasted great
I will break it big time tomorrow afternoon as I am in the company of an EA STH (£1100 per annum) and I doubt I will be able to keep quiet. I wonder if he will get a refund?

We may signed new players (what positions need bolstering? 12?) have but contracts on both sides may dictate that things can't be announced. I'd be gutted to see Tibo go though

January is the longest most boring and coldest month of the year, who in their right mind would make it worse by giving up alcohol?

Could be worse. Could have gone vegan, given up alcohol and been an EA fan.
