No doubt for a large wedge.

When all these Salaries refugees return home are we supposed to believe the club will be within the salary cap? Seems a bit of a stretch to me.

I recall that Loz wanted to stay in London rather than move to Coventry. He obviously fancies the social life in Toulouse.

I think it's becoming more obvious that Loz follows the money.

They were caught got being ~£1m over the cap.

I don't understand why they're loaning players out, because with Kruis off, Williams already gone and some like Wigglesworth likely to retire they'll easily save £1m.

Which then begs the question, why even bother loaning players out - unless some of the players don't want to play a year in the championship

What if NW pays them for next season outside of the club accounts [which he has done many times before], in advance of their contract for the subsequent seasons. They weren't playing for the club at the time etc etc.
They then return on a more modest salary paid by the club. And Sarries are below the cap.

NW doesn't believe in the rules, remember.

I rather get the sense that the £1m excess only represents what was found to day. I as recall, they were desperate to avoid forensic accountants having a look.

Money aside I think the Sarries move was counter productive for Lozowski. A stand out 10 he had his talent diluted by being experimented with in the centres. It's a bit like the Daly to FB disaster. I imagine he'll play centre for Toulouse and continue to be average there. A waste.

Agree. Watching some older games on TV this week, I'd forgotten how good Loz was at 10 and how Daly really looked the 13 he really is. Loz could have "done" 12 really well - better than the England incumbent....perhaps....
