Good! I'd offer him one - well worth it.

Agreed, Gopps is still a important first team player so lets get him signed up for next season.

Had a read this morning, other than the above mentioned Jimmy interview, 1 other thing that struck me about the things I dislike about TRP.
Nick Cain. The byline states ‘Read his expert opinion every week’. Perhaps I should have heard of him but I haven’t, so what makes him an expert, and did someone in the RFU or PRL run over his dog as every week there is only ever bile directed at the 2 usually with a poor Sarries tone, although not this week for once.

I did like most of the Jeff Probyn column this week (other than the fact he didn’t enjoy last weeks match against Bath). I agree with a lot of what he says about 1 caps to block players from going to other unions etc. He adds a question around Paolo at the end. Whilst not knocking Paolo as he has played very well recently, whether he is the best player in that position for England currently is a different discussion, I do actually think Eddie will give him 5mins against Italy and never pick him again, ending his potential Italian international career.

Interesting... Whilst I hate to be that guy, this doesn't give weight to the Devoto rumour, it does suggest we may potentially be looking for a replacement if we can't sign him again. But that's just the painfully obvious.

But disappointed with the transfer rumours so far. That's probably a good thing squad stability wise. But with players such as Rowlands, Bassett, Brookes, Gopperth, Sopoaga all potentially/definitely leaving, I was hoping for some substantial rumours.

It would be interesting to know Lee’s thinking wrt Jimmy. Personally I would give him a player/coach contract. But then, I don’t pay the bills!
