Excellent reaction from Jack.
That's the kind of mindset that means you heal much quicker...and no doubt use the time wisely, bettering himself in all areas of life.

Think he set up a property company with Alex Lindbergh, or was it Reider? last time . So already looking ahead.
Plus also eating one of the greasiest burgers in the pub with us!

Well, they're both called Alex  :)

But yes, Lundberg who had to retire early because of injury.  Good interview with Jack on The Good, The Bad and The Rugby Podcast recently.  Ellis Genge picked him as his first guest.

He chatted about RockCap as something he wanted to do to have an interest and a career path outside of Rugby should the worst happen and he had to retire early, or for when he retires.  Also some good insight into how close the relationship is with his Brother (and housemate!) and how he'd find himself having bad days and just need a chat and a few packs of biscuits with his Bro to talk things through and keep spirits up.

Although a bitter blow (one I’m still trying to wrap my head around), he is genuinely a strong character who has a fantastic support structure around him and the adulations of the rugby world. From a psychological perspective, these will all go along way to help him over the challenging months ahead.

On a different note, in a situation like this does the England set up assume all responsibilities & associated costs for his rehabilitation until his return? Not that it is important but it’s interesting to know what happens in such a situation.
