I'm surprised Tom Youngs  is only 202 Tigers appearances, fewer than 70 ahead of Bassett. Would never have guessed that.

Away with England a lot, injured and also don’t forget I think he had some time out when his Wife was diagnosed with Terminal Cancer.  Fortunately, she’s in remission and I think has had the all clear.

But he was one of the Leicester stalwarts who didn’t actually play that many games a lot of the time.
