Think he’s a bit harsh on Josh actually. He’s one of our best decision makers. I do think we need a flyer such as Watson or Kibirige on the other wing to compliment him though.

So does Bobby believe that the centre pairing will be Fekitoa and Odogwu. Not sure that worked.

I’m not saying Mills we be excellent but I believe/hoping he will do a better job then our current choices. For me Fekitoa plays 13 and Odogwu plays on the wing.

Yes I do agree that more options will open up for Alfie and his glass we start to show, especially as he gets more games under is belt. I would like EJ to leave him alone this 6 nations and not take him so his just carrying tackle bags.

Not sure our back row will be Willis x 2 and Alfie. For me it will be shields Alfie and Jack.

I wouldn’t mind seeing every now and then a back row of Fifita, Alfie and Jack

I would certainly like to see Fifita at 6 as soon as possible.

I agree - probably his natural position.

We are in the market for a further centre...the question will be what sort of centre we are after? Is it a manu or a Joseph? I know JJ is rumoured to be leaving Bath, and although he has struggled for form, I think a move to us with how we like to play the game would bring the best out of him...and his best is test level.

The problem however is we need a physical hard running centre who can give us gain line advantage. Players like Tuilagi are worth their weight in gold not just for inches to metres gained, but tying in defenders to create space for others. It is here we do not really have that option to us. Paulo, Spink are definitely not....Maybe Mills at a push can be, but he is still working hard to get back to playing. Gopps cannot keep going ad infinitum so we need a replacement, the question is who.

Manu is a walking sick note. I doubt if any club gets VFM from him now.

We need players who will not be picked for international duty.

In the market for a (ONE) centre would be insufficient. We are likely to lose Mills and Fekitoa. Jimmy must be close to OEL now, and MLB, at best, should be maybe half a dozen games a year. Yes we have Spink and Paolo. I would say we need to be looking at 2 or 3 centres.

And someone to be the main pick for the 14 shirt. Nobody in our current squad is up to that for me. A backup 9 for Robson is a coin toss. None of our 3 replacements really shout out for that spot yet, but surely one of them will? At 10, I am happy with Jacob, Charlie and Miller. At 11 Mehson and Josh suit me just fine. FB is also covered as far as I am concerned. I do think we will lose/release 2 or all three of Minozzi, Kibirige and Watson.

I am not so concerned with the forwards.

So, in the market for 2 or 3 centres and at least one, maybe two right wings.

To assess who we may be in the market for you first need to know who will be retained. If you assume the most notable outgoings will be Scholtz, Hougaard, Watson, Minozzi, Fekitoa and Mills. Koch replaces Scholtz and we’re ok at FB. We have Mehson plus academy prospects at wing. So, for me, we need two 12’s a 13, and a 9. If Martinez doesn’t stay we’ll also need a LH. Books should balance as there is decent cash outgoing once you include Young as well.
