Bobby tweeted this chat was from before Sunday's game, so it seemed appropriate to pull my finger out and share it as Blackett & Hougaard explain the decision to play on the wing.

I thought he played his best game for us (so far) on Sunday. His defense was immense. It looks like he'll be staying on the wing which is alright by me. Nice to see that Lee is approachable and listens to his players.

It looked liked he may have pulled a hamstring in the final seconds of the game. Hope he's OK.

Off the wall comment, but could he fill in at centre? I think he’d be better at 13 than Josh and I’m a Josh fan.

Having said that, I think Sam Spink has earned the right to be considered a serious option at 13.

Sam was immense yesterday and if he stays fit could make the position his own very quickly.

Delighted to see Sam Spink doing well in the senior side. Always seen as an exciting prospect. The Wasps Academy certainly has unearthed some gems in recent years (and more to come given some of the reports on recent Academy matches).

He was very good. Tigers effectively gave up testing that channel after his crunching tackles.

I also agree that Sam is starting to get more and more into the game. The longer he plays the better I think he will get. One player I’m keen to progress with

One thing I have been trying to get my head around is how much better do you have to be as a winger/worse as a scrum half to have a DoR make this switch and how would the DoR make/measure the success of that decision?
