Whilst its always good to have an eye for the next generation of players, trophies are won by teams winning games now, not by those building for the future.

Completely agree. For me, as at now, I just don’t think he’s good enough for the starting 23. Even when injury free I struggle to remember any real impacts. We now have a raft of very unfortunate injuries sat on top of that. It’s just a harsh reality in my opinion that he’s never really had an impact for us.
