I can understand why he won't get those 2 extras caps, life's cruel but we need to worry about the future.

The least they could do, though, is let him lead the team out at the first home game. If they let it be known it might even put a few more bums on seats.

My view? Wait for a hooker to get long term injured, sign him for injury cover, put him in the replacements, and give him those two run ons.

A bit dangerous if the hooker gets injured in the first few minutes.  I’m sue he’d give his all and die for the club, but would we be happy if it meant we missed told 4/6/8 at the end of the season?
