The article said he was on trial so doubt they would have announced it till he'd passed that trial & been offered a proper contract.

As you say Neils recruitment is a positive sign. Looks the part physically. Prem is a huge, huge step up from where he’s played before so presumably using Ampthill as a stepping stone. Good luck Cam.
