Whither Mark Wilson?
« on: February 23, 2019, 11:36:26 PM »
I'm not saying Newcastle are for the drop but they are currently bottom of the Prem and have a bit to do to avoid it. Mark Wilson seems to be first choice for England at 6. Does anyone know the status of his contract? Does he have a break clause and if so will he exercise it?

He will probably sign for Sarries for less money (50 p and a bunch of grapes) and, of course, the challenge, whilst his other half opens a coffee shop  at AP and his dad finds a mysterious envelope of rand stuffed through the letterbox.....

If there’s any Newcastle player who would help this team it’d be Johnny Williams at 12. Even from his time at Irish he’s been a standout player. Can punch holes in the defence while having decent enough hands too.

Williams or Ryan Mills would be an excellent signing for Wasps. Dai was keen on Mills a while ago wasn't he? I doubt either would want to come and sit behind Fekitoa though.

All depends if Fekitoa is coming to be a 12 or a 13. If it’s the latter we are short of a front line 12 (as much as I love Jimmy, we do need to think 3 years long term)
