Sale beat Bath 6 v 3
Saints beat Falcons 31 (TBP) v 17

Things looking very grim for Newcastle. More injuries for them also.

The Bath team looked totally devoid of cohesion or ideas. Utterly boring game.

Newcastle undid themselves. They are seriously short of front row options now.

Sale won, so take it as you want. It does make it hard for Bath now though. It was a terrible game in the rain. Ben Curry looks like he will be out now for a while with a knee injury. He played on it for at least 15 minutes. You could hear him scream in pain at one point, but he still stayed on and got the turnover and kicked the ball out for the end of the game. Total warrior.

It was dire - do Bath gain a losing bonus point for that? My reading is that they do but it is not mentioned in any of the results I have seen.
