At a glance I think Dickson and Pearce are new to the World Cup.

As is Nic Berry. He was with us from 2010-13, when he had to retire from playing due to a series of concussions.

I wonder what will be the big talking points .. interpretations of SH ref's compared to NH ref's... or the difference between SH and  NH TMO interventions

Who is really interested Wasps will be playing at the same time. Can only worry about one thing at a time!

Agreed RE: Wasps also playing.

But, that means some of the 'quality' GP refs will be absent, for which I for one will say, 'Thank you!'

Sadly from a Prem point of view JP Doyle isn't at the world cup.

I assume because whoever is in charge of choosing the officials has noticed that he is a truly dreadful ref.

Pretty much all of the other refs have their good days & bad days, but JP is just atrocious EVERY game.

Its a shame we don't get similar reffing to the SH and Super R as the emphasis on allowing the ball to move ought to be to our advantage over the mess that often is the breakdown - amongst other things
