We were uncertain about Watson last season. He seems a new man this season with confidence and skills.

I disagree. By the end of last season Watson showed some outrageous form, he was even cutting through full strength Saracens and that takes some doing. We knew he'd be needed in future.

If you mean he's cemented himself in the starting team, I agree.

Marcus Watson was always going to struggle to win over the fans as he essentially had to replace Christian Wade.
His less than stellar first few months made that even more of a struggle.

His good form coincided with an article stating that he'd previously been carrying an injury, but was now raring to go.
Maybe, just maybe, he is the Christian Wade replacement we all want.

Re Marcus - I think if he's himself, he won't go far wrong. No one trying to be CW is going to win, but being a different but great wing/FB is just fine!
