We looked bright and at the races for 15 and then the glimmer of hope that Robson and Lima would spark some creativity was dashed as we seemed to be lost as to what we were trying to do. Probably a good thing they were lacking their big players - but that does little for my confidence before next week

It was not a good omen for our next match.

Absolute horse poop!

Might have been a dead rubber, but there is no excuse for not being able to execute the basics. How many knock ons?

Awful. Just awful.

In a way, I'm glad I couldn't go. At home I could turn it off. Dire and without creativity.

Only consolation I can take from being there today is that the 80 minutes against Edinburgh a few weeks ago are no longer the most wasted in my life.
Oh and it was good to meet the BB supporters,  unfortunately now my daughter with her newly obtained flag, songs and dances wants to be one of them!

Nilled at home in the Challenge Cup, not even the Champions... that’s not great. Sort of thing I expect from Quins.

The only upside to that game is that it’s over. Bleak.

Well if that selection was an attempt to build momentum at home leading towards the next game that really did backfire, just hope no one was injured badly.
Might as well played more of the youngsters like last week.

Again Porter seemed to add some zip when he came on, Robson’s is still just not at the races and I think needs a more domineering 10 barking at him and not sure we have one.

So many knock ons again, muddled and confused midfield but at least our forwards are trying a few tip on passes now and just not attacking as one out runners whilst receiving the ball standing still

Funny you should use Quins as the comparison since while we were being nilled with a near full strength side at home against a sub strength Bordeaux in the Challenge Cup, a sub strength Quins side were giving a full strength Clermont side a bloody good game in the Champions Cup.

It was deflating. I suppose there is the context that Bordeaux are top of the Top 14 and Agen are bottom.

In a few games I have felt we missed a big and tall player that can regularly punch a hole and offload. Just feels that sometimes we play as if we think we have those sort of players. Perhaps we do miss Hughes.
