Interesting EA ticket prices
« on: September 09, 2020, 08:14:31 AM »
Saw this when looking for a Farrell response (none yet).

Category - 2 Season Price - 3 Season price
Tulip Club - £10,370 - £16,265
Private Box - £5,665 - £8,870
100 Club - £4,715 - £7,395
Fez Club - £1,695 - £2,660
Platinum Plus - £1,775 - £2,785
Platinum - £1,615 - £2,535
Gold - £1,100 - £1,725
Silver - £740 - £1,160
Bronze - £550 - £860
Red & Black - £470 - £740

They are saying they have been told these prices without a single season version. A friend of mine in the Platinum category is a tad peed off that his seat has not reduced in price despite relegation (over £1k per annum).
Let me tell you something cucumber

Probably more than the value of some Championship teams!

How is £1615 for 2 seasons over £1k per annum? Surely it averages at £807.50 per annum? The 3 season offering is £845 per annum. I'm not saying it's good VFM btw. It's interesting that the 3rd season price is between 12-15% higher than the average of the respective 2 season prices, suggesting that the championship year 1 is considerably cheaper than the "assumed" premiership year 2 price, as a built in c. 13.5% price jump would be huge.

Why not try it? Stops people dropping the club for the championship year and assuming they can come back to the same seats once back up. Not saying I'd be happy about it if it were me, but the business has to try and protect the bottom line, those returning loanees won't come cheap neither.

My bad. Just relating what I was told so must check - maybe he has upgraded! Still bloody high prices for a stadium that barely keeps you dry.

Now that I do agree with, wonder what he/she gets over the Silver or Gold level seats (assuming they represent the best seats in the stands)? Can only assume they have a fall back offering in place in case this 2 season deal fails to take off.

He has always been a bit cagey about cost and benefits but I do know it is the main stand near the centre line. I do know he is part of a small group of city financial people and he has one of the cheapest of the group.
Strangely they never travel even to European matches. You would think that if you can afford mega buck tickets without flinching and you support your team you would try and enjoy your cheating team win abroad!
