Even if "more facts come to light", it still beggars belief that PRL put in charge of the decision re last Sunday, as I understand it, an ex Sale player who was also Sales Operations Director, and allegedly remains a good friend of Dimes. Did they not think that, regardless of whether he acted without prejudice, it would not look good, and that many stakeholders would be suspicious? I can see that it might have been useful to have him "on the case" as support, but in charge....
Did no one at PRL insist that they did a little time considering unintended consequences, or do a little scenario planning before Sunday?
Certainly looks like a professional sport being run by amateurs, which is not fair to the clubs players or staff, nor the fan base.
