It's easy to beat PRL with a stick at the moment but if as claimed Sale have them over a barrel with legal threats then perhaps they have some sympathy in the bank.

Perhaps a few more facts will soon come to light and then we'll see if PRL are as weak as Kitson suspects.

Even if "more facts come to light", it still beggars belief that PRL put in charge of the decision re last Sunday, as I understand it, an ex Sale player who was also Sales Operations Director, and allegedly remains a good friend of Dimes. Did they not think that, regardless of whether he acted without prejudice, it would not look good, and that many stakeholders would be suspicious? I can see that it might have been useful to have him "on the case" as support, but in charge....???
Did no one at PRL insist that they did a little time considering unintended consequences, or do a little scenario planning before Sunday?
Certainly looks like a professional sport being run by amateurs, which is not fair to the clubs players or staff, nor the fan base.

Yes, was a bit shortsighted wasn't it. However there is a certain temptation to facing a massively depleted Sale in a semi final 2 and a half days after they last played.
