If he's not, then I assume Fekitoa is.


If Lima is our marquee and he leaves then we don't free his salary up from the cap. We free up money outside the cap.

Are we then able to make Fekitoa our overseas marquee player even though he's been here a season already, it would be have had to be the marquee player when he joined?


If we can move him into the marquee spot then Lima leaving allows us to free up Fekitoa's salary from the cap.... Presumably that's a decent sum too

Shame if he does leave as he's never really sparkled and seems to have bonded well with the team. Just never really found his feet and always seemed to suit Super Rugby approach a little more.

If he is a marquee player then that frees up a fair bit of cash but obviously he isn't then we still have a decent wedge to spend. I wonder who Lee will invest this on.
