This is surely what the cultural recovery fund is for? Seems incredibly short-sighted to close ahead of the soon-to-be-on-us bicentenary. Also, I'm not sure what this license model they operate is.

What a shame.

Has anyone been ? When it first opened did think about setting off earlier and making a diversion one weekend to look at it ,when travelling to wasps. Just didn’t seem to be a thing to go there for a day , certainly not pushed in advertising.

I’ve got to be honest and say I’ve never been there either. Fairly sure none of my friends or family have been there.

Use it or lose it I guess.

Been a couple of times. One of the times we went the Webb Ellis trophy was on display, whilst it was doing the tour before the world cup in Japan.

Has some nice displays of memorabilia etc and some interesting facts etc on the walls, went just after it opened the 1st time and had to point out Bill McLaren was Scottish. Worth a visit, or would be if it was ever to open again.

Find it hard to understand why they have to pay a license to World Rugby to host their museum.
