Congratulations Ireland!  Well played; you deserved that win, and I thoroughly enjoyed watching you. Thank you.

SCW summed it all up - EJ needs to take a long hard look at himself in the mirror. His rugby thinking is so far out of touch with the game as it is now played. We look like donkeys at times. Times up Eddie, fall on your sword and do us all a favour.

SCW comments so true- who is holding him to account? I want him to do the decent thing and accept that new blood is needed.

We surprised the French last week by keeping the ball in hand. And we won as a result. This week we went with the double bluff and reverted to type in order to surprise the Irish — with the predictable result. General Melchett would be pleased.

During the six nations has Robson played more minutes at fly half then scrum half?
Madness

This 6N, Briefcase has played more minutes at full back than an actual full back. Madness

That would be funny in a sane world.

We hoped last night's gouging was an isolated incident. But Genge showed we were wrong

Einstein defined madness as doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results.

England have reverted to type and are executing badly and it’s getting tedious. A couple of good tries from Ireland and nearly a third.
Couldn't agree more.

Against France, England kept the ball in hand, played with ferocious speed with great handling and demonstrated that the backs have considerable ability when you let them have the bloody ball. Orchestrated very well by Ford who is an excellent 10 when the team are allowed to play rather than just hoofing the leather off the ball. In the second half they recognised that France were tiring and resorted to a more attritional style. Good game management which resulted in a victory.

Yesterday against Ireland we reverted to the game plan that was used against Wales and Scotland because that worked really well didn't it? Hand possession to the opposition, give away countless penalties, lose every arial contest for the ball. Brilliant. Unsurprisingly we get a thumping.

The one positive is that Paulo wasn't involved in that dirge.

The other is that Wasps have another flyhalf available now!
