Morning All

Lovely still morning here - good day for running rugby.

After last week you have to hope that the first half team turn up for the whole game. Also depends on which Bath side turns up. As in previous weeks as a Wasps fan you have to be pessimistic but I really hope we turn it around.

Neils, you beat me to it whilst I was typing!

Greetings one and all from a very sunny S Bucks.

I have an open mind on the outcome of today's game. Both sides are flaky.

It's a dry day with a decent temperature. It should result in a good contest.

If we cut out our unforced errors, I fancy us to win.

Odds suggest a close game - Wasps 8/11, Bath 11/10.

Sounds like another watch from behind the sofa!

Greetings folks. Tired from a hard day's work yesterday, but no aches and pains. Let's hope the lads turn up for at least 80 minutes today. Funny thinking that would be the goal to set. A win? Not hopeful.

Good morning everyone. Cool sunny morning  here  and muddy coloured  clouds hiding the top of the mountain (hang-gliders were back last week after a long time).  Haven't the faintest idea who will  win out of today's match but hope we don't get  the dopplegangers who turned up last week.  Jaffa cakes etc are already in place behind the settee - just in case.  Wish I  could have seen the U23s last week.   However  ....  Line of Duty at 9 o'clock  .....   who gets dropped from the cast list??  Safe journeys Wasps -  play well - hope you  get a huge win ... Allez x 3

Morning all.

My dad died yesterday morning, so I am fully expecting another utter stuffing just to round off the weekend in style.

Condolences VV, no matter how much you prepare for these events mentally they still leave a great sadness and sense of emptiness.

Firstly, and most importantly, please accept my sympathies VV, as others have said, expected or not, it's never going to be an easy time and I remember the feeling well. Please look after yourself - it's far too easy to try and be strong and make sure everyone else is ok and neglect yourself (personal experience...)

As for today, it's cold and clear and the team have a chance to show what they can do. I hold not great expectation, but hope is eternal - especially as I live opposite a keen Bath fan and not that far from Bath.....And a good win would make meeting the neighbours all that much better!

Keep safe all.

Good morning everyone. Sorry about your dad VV.

One of these days it's all going to come together for our players and someone is going to get a pasting. All bad runs come to an end. Why not today? My wife says I'm far too optimistic for my own good.

Morning all Waspies, and especially VV. my prayers are to you and your family during these most difficult of times.

Today’s game is about drawing a line. Last weeks second forty, and specifically last quarter was an abomination. I have previously written that one of the non negotiable’s in rugby is effort, you bust a gut from second one to last second whistle, even if the game is going against you, and you are facing uphill challenge that even Sir Ranulph himself would struggle to overcome.

Last week our team failed to do this and it was an action of AWOL that I hope we never see again.

This week must be better, we must see the non negotiable, it is a shame that this is now a task to achieve rather than a automatic expectation, yet this is a reflection of where we are. Bath showed grit and determination to get a win against a physical and abrasive Tigers, they went for 80 minutes, and they have confidence and a powerful squad turning up at our field today. In my opinion Lee has made the correct call with most of the 23 the same as last week, this is a chance of redemption, and the whole squad need to grasp it firmly with both hands. The journey from the depths must start today, it may take a season or 2 before we can consider champions cup and silverware, but today must be that first step.

So cry Wasps for Lee and all supporters!!!

Chris

Morning all,
Lovely morning here.
I saw signs of an improved performance last week - before we capitulated - and feel we have enough to beat a resurgent Bath team today.
I believe we will win. COYW.

Steve.

ps sorry to hear your sad news VV.

Morning all, condolences to you VV.

Not expecting much from today , even if mail is predicting home win.

Just hope lads put in a decent performance to justify carrying supporters names on their shirts
