Loosehead can't be anyone massively high profile given how well stocked we are there? Even with ZZ potentially on the way out?

I think we know the second row and tighthead, so that leaves the hooker. Given Cruse is probably number 1, it would be interesting to see who that might be?

Exciting news.

I guess we have signed Stooke and the South African prop from the Scarlets?

I agree we need to prioritise new forwards signings but fairly surprised we are signing a 4th loose head.

Little surprised we have signed a hooker too as I’d thought next season would see Alfie transition there.

Great news that despite potentially signing Stooke we’re still looking for a front line second row - good to know that sometimes us armchair coaches are working in tandem with Blackett

Another backrow will be tricky to fit in the mix if everyone is fit whilst bringing through a lot of young players in the academy in that position.

Interesting we’ve got a hooker coming in, surely another championship project to allow Barbeary and Oghre time to ease in slowly

Just re-reading this bit

My interpretation of that is we have four signings already done but not announced (including a second row) and then he’s looking for two new locks and one (or two) backrowers? Is that right?

So Stooke plus another front line lock plus another squad lock could be very interesting - possibly Theo leaving and Jaiani a longer project but that is a lot of competition in there - saying that Launchers out and Gaskell not getting any younger we also need to plan ahead - would be handy to have a new lineout caller too - notnsure if Stooke calls the lineout

It could be that either Oghre or Barbeary are seen as longer term back row options.

Must admit I've read this over and over and I'm not sure if we're signing one lock, two, three or four. Or whether one of those will actually be a six. Agreeing with the above that the LH is Hislop, 2nd Row Stooke and TH Scholtz. Hooker is an odd one. I'd take Langdon from Sale given that they have Taylor incoming. Massive emphasis on the pack which is right I think.
