As usual, no wasps rumours... Yet we keep springing surprises

Admittedly, I'll be surprised if there's many more

Thanks for keeping your eyes on it, Neils. But our previous three most recent big signings (at least), John Mitchell, Fifita and Nemo were (AFAIK) totally under the radar and were never rumoured anywhere. Fissler must be fuming.

I meant to add a thank you to Neils as well.

While I don't read TRP, I do quite enjoy hearing the rumours during silly season.

I like that we've done some recent business without it being leaked, and therefore we're not mentioned much in the paper, but I really do appreciate these weekly posts to keep us informed

Agree - he seems to be concentrating on his beloved Millwall and Middlesex! Interesting to see what elsae he finds but as has been said Wasps arte running a very tight ship at the moment.

Its not just the Wasps team running a tight operation, they've somehow managed to persuade the players' agents to maintain confidentiality as well.

Probably because we've seen what happens when they don't or start messing about trying to get other clubs involved to get more money, Wasps go looking elsewhere and players miss out.

The more I see of the Wasps commercial management team the more I have confidence in the long term future of the club.

No rumours in or out. The last question mark I had in terms of those possibly going was Vukasinovic - so I guess he's staying.

Jack commented in one of his videos that he would be in the Rehab group with TV3 until Christmas.  I took that that he was still with us plus he seemed to be getting more game time just as he got injured.

Yes, I had a feeling the extra game time was something of a new contract trial. We haven't got excess locks so makes sense to retain.

Agreed. Quietly doing the business in the background, away from the media.

I'm always impressed with Theo.

He always looks like a more athletic lock, more in the line out jumper mould than old school heavy weight enforcer.
However in his relatively few appearances, he always seems to generate good go forward ball and I don't recall ever seeing the scrum get any weaker with him in the engine room.

I think he's the kind of player we should absolutely be keeping hold of... Assuming he recovers fully

Re rumours, think it’s interesting that TRP does not mention Gleeson possibly  going to England in the report on Mitchell , Nick Cain’s article on turnover of England coaches, or indeed Fissler’s  page.

No news is good news for me.

I don't think we need too much next year now- if we sign nobody else and nobody leaves I will be fine. An experienced coach on the staff was probably one piece of jigsaw we needed, and we have one now.
