What's the ban guidance for a shoulder charge to head?

We have Quins twice over the next 5 weeks, wonder if they will be with Marler.

If someone charges Marler on the head, there will be no damage as he leaves his brain at the touchline. I have noticed an increasing reluctance of the citing officers to do anything.

Some dangerous play seems to be OK, some not.

They have to look at his past history on this. He has to get a long rest this time.
Let me tell you something cucumber

Trouble is, you can see a 4 week or less ban coming, meaning he misses no AP games. Quins are dead in the ERC, and probably don't care about the AWC. So I think it has to be 6-8 weeks to have any real effect. They won't do that.

Marler's rap sheet is getting longer though, even saying Guilty won't halve it, the fact he was up before the beak just a few months ago will more likely see a week or two added on.

Apparently the hearing is tonight and the ban could be 2 to 10 weeks.

Hoping they don't give him the normal 50% discount for being a good boy then.

50% is the maximum possible reduction.  Given he doesn't have a good record, he should not receive that, even if he says sorry and guilty, unless it's a very low entry point.  He should then have another week or two added on due to his recent history.

Entry point is probably the biggest determinant of just how long he gets.

Looks like he got a 6 week ban, so misses our AP game as well as the ECC game.

Just reading all of the comments around and about on Marler about being a liability and asking how many red/yellow card minutes he has cost. He may or may not be a liability in an England shirt, but we shouldn't forget that a new England recruit desperate to make a mark is also capable of costing red card minutes...

Yes, but it's the ability to learn and profit from one's mistake that is important. I'm afraid learning is not Marler's strong point.
