Morning All!
« on: February 18, 2018, 08:00:34 AM »
A screw up through the week means I'm heading in to the office shortly. Which means I'm not sure I'll get to watch the game today, but I'm certainly going to try.

I have my concerns about it, but based on last week and the home advantage I'd say that at least in paper we should have this. I've learned not to take these things for granted though.

Well, it is a glorious start to the day here just south of the Ricoh. The cloud has cleared, temperature is good, barely any wind. Couldn't be any better for the free flowing Wasps game. Now let's win this one and see the Prem table start to fracture, with Sorries well ahead, us and the Chiefs battling for 2nd and 3rd, and then four teams battling for fourth. What a day!!

Morning all, best wishes to you and yours. Dull and dry in Solihull, here's hoping it stays that way.

If the team can put in a performance like last week and a similar intensity then we must have a chance. It really feels like we are into the business end of the season where we start to see where we will end up. Gopperth back to starting, wonder if he would have anyway? It will be interesting to see how the back rows match up and to see how our guys go against the much touted Armand. I am a little worried about Jack, Exeter fly into rucks, literally sometimes. Look forward to seeing Reider again, assuming he is given some time, his carries could be really useful. The other interest will be Watson on the 'Wade Wing'.

Here's to a great game, COME ON YOU WASPS!

Morning all
Beautiful day in deepest Essex.  The joys of bus replacement services - now on bus to catch a tube to catch another tube to catch a train to catch another train or bus. Normally drive but other half up north and travelling to Ricoh separately. Bonkers journey. Mind you only 20 quid first class which would have been nice for the whole journey! A win necessary afyer this Wasps. Please.

Morning all!

Normal Sunday morning, but for the fact that my knee hurts like buggery!  Think I may have sprained it training on thursday (fitness type class), now I'm just hoping it gets better quickly!

This is going to be a tough game, I suspect the side is still tired after the Quins game, and the emotional drain after such a victory, may be tough to get back in focus for Exeter.  As mentioned, they really blast the rucks, so if Jack can win even 1 turnover in this game, that'll be impressive, but it's definitely necessary, otherwise they'll just grind us down!

Belated Morning all. I'm feeling human again after two strong coffees and a dog walk across the fields.

I think our bench will be the difference today so if we can keep the scoreline close for the first 60 minutes then I can see the likes of Smashley, Simpson and Wade seeing us home.

Well got here despite virgin trains. Train booked on cancelled so shovelled on to an earlier one. Have to say the wasps bus at the station really stands out.
