Not necessarily a fan of this, prefer coaches sticking to their roles rather than doing jobs for multiple teams.

Good for him. Might even spot some under the radar players for us.

He doesn't actually hang around anywhere for long so another part season is probably a bonus.

Good luck to Mitch, I hope it provides him with opportunities to keep himself and what he does with Wasps fresh and also gets some ideas to bring back

Not in Japan I suspect. I did think that when he arrived it felt like an interim 'got nothing better to do' type of appointment. Make the best of him being here, as he will move on.

I accept that our Western culture has an ethos of moving on to bigger, better, more lucrative, and I am as guilty of doing this as much as any. But, the grass is rarely greener. If you rise, you stand to fall further. Sometimes, if and when you find somewhere that nurtures you and your soul, maybe it is time to enjoy living and life.

A bit soulful this Friday morning, looking back on a life of poor decisions, or which I have made a great many.

I should imagine that the PRL doesn't have much of a draw for Japanese players, based on the reduced salary cap, and reported salaries over there.

Would agree with that (think there is at least one in France and maybe one in Scotland). We are too constrained but maybe a youngster.

It’s why I did say ‘under radar’ . Maybe a waif who wants to improve game by playing in Europe

Nelly, see it this way.
You’ve never made a bad decision in your life.
You’ve simply made the only decisions you knew how to make at that time.

If you could have made a different decision, you would have made a different decision.
But you didn’t. And you couldn’t.

We all have a big bag of awareness and understanding. All the things we’ve learnt and copied. All the conditioning and programming our environment has provided us with over the course of our life.
You can only make decisions based on what’s in your bag.

If you want to expand your bag, then read books, listen wisely, challenge your own belief system, be more compassionate, talk, travel, speak to people you wouldn’t normally speak to, try something new etc etc.

But ultimately, up until this moment right now, nothing could have happened any differently to how it has happened….otherwise it would have.

So dump all your regrets in the bin.
And make peace with your current circumstances.
Happiness is always in the now.
It never exists in the future, as there no such thing as your future…it’s purely a construct of your imagination.
You’ll always be in the now (even in the future).

 :D
