Not new news but adding fuel to the Edwards fire and Wasps ahead in the race for the Naholo signature, did anyone see him knock Quade Cooper into 2020? Clip below, loving the phrase 'Gives the big don't argue to Quade Cooper'...

Extracted below;

Shaun Edwards has been linked with a return to Wasps after the Rugby World Cup.

Back in August last year, it was reported that Edwards, the current Wales defence coach, had signed a three-year deal to take over at Wigan Warriors - the rugby league giants with whom he made his name.

Indeed, in a unique move, the Warriors announced Adrian Lam as head coach for this Super League season before he would hand the reins over to Edwards from 2020 onwards.

However, it is now being suggested by RugbyInsideLine that Edwards could be joining Wasps as head coach, with Dai Young staying on as director of rugby.

Wigan chairman Ian Lenagan may even have hinted at such an outcome before the Six Nations started when he said that Lam could potentially remain as the club's head coach if he was a success this season.

If true, it means Edwards will prolong an 18-year coaching career in rugby union that began with Wasps in 2001 as defence and backs coach before taking over from Warren Gatland as head coach in 2005.

During his time at the club, Wasps won the Premiership on three successive occasions - in 2003, 2004 and 2005 - as well as lifting Heineken Cups in 2004 and 2007.

Former England and Wasps star Andy Goode, who is still involved behind the scenes at the Coventry club, suggested recently on a RugbyPass Facebook live session that big changes were on their way at the Ricoh.

"There are going to be some changes in and around the club, I believe. Watch this space, there are some big announcements to be made, huge announcements to be made."

While we're on the subject of Wasps, 26-year-old tighthead prop Mike Daniels has signed from Championship club Nottingham.

And Wasps have reportedly emerged as the front runners to sign New Zealand winger Waisake Naholo after the World Cup. London Irish are also interested.

New Zealand news website stuff.nz reports that the 27 year-old will join fellow All Blacks and Highlanders alumni Lima Sopoaga and Malakai Fekitoa in Coventry for the 2018/19 season.

Sadly playing as we currently are we don't look too attractive!

I thought him to Irish was all but done, but great to hear we might still be in the hunt
