I'm going to be very interested in the Umaga/Smith head to head.

It’s great to see the faith put in by clubs of players in pivotal positions like Smith and the likes of Grayson, Redpath, Lloyd, Manu Vunipola and Simmonds at Exeter over the last few years. Hope we now continue the trend with Umaga and Porter

Well this is it.
This is about as strong a side as we have this season (taking form into consideration in some places)

Every team in the league has their strengths and weaknesses. Quin's are very strong in the front row.

And I'd love to see Matthews outplay Symonds if only for some justification of Dai's transfer policy.

Unfortunately I look at the team sheets and I'm worried, but this is where the guys need to prove it to us.

I just don't want to look back on this game and complain that Launchbury and Matthews weren't really fit

They may not be match fit but we don't exactly have a choice.

Quins' front row is a two-edged sword, it clearly has the edge in terms of aggression, but, that aggression leads to regular ill discipline. We need to stay level headed and compete fairly, hoping Messrs Marler and Sinckler lose their composure is something to bear in mind. I think the backs will be okay but I would like to see the wings played in a little more, they seem to have been forgotten in recent months. I think the Quins bench has the edge over ours...

On paper this looks pretty even, however, we have a 28,000 crowd according to the club so we should be able to draw on a 16th man, fingers and everything else crossed.
It was fine when I left it.....

Strong team. I have Carr as a far better 8 than Vailanu but with Willis and Young at 6 and 7 we do need someone to punch holes. My only other worry is Kibirige defensively - he gets out of position a lot. No excuses really though, and we must win.

Seriously, some days you get the feeling. Had it before the Eng NZ semi, just feel this will be a W.

I think the mince pies must have had a bit too much brandy in them!

The bookies have us as small favourites.

I hope they're right

Is it a coaching issue that we played for 20 minutes, then stop playing

Why did our intensity drop off so much, then start playing with 10 minutes to go and then it’s too late.

I don’t understand why Carr didn’t start, also we have a massive problem at 12

Coaching staff has go to get the players playing for more than 20 minutes a game. To drop off like that is very alarming. We are definitely in a relegation battle, to lose to a poor quins side at home is very disappointing. It’s official we are in trouble
