Very fortunate but I’ll take it too.

We missed Joe and we were clumsy.

I’m really convinced that that ‘knock on’ close to the line was actually a Quinn hand coming through the ruck.

Clever.
But I don’t think the referee really looked at it closely.

Ilea dealt us a get out of jail free card there and they took it. I think the phrase is winning ugly., but at this stage of the season who cares?

Phew. Thought we looked a bit nervy. I'm not sure Willis is human. Set piece was great but until the last 15 just too many mistakes. Thought Shields was solid and Rowlands carried hard. All's well that ends well!!

I don’t think the break did us any good but I think we will play better against Exeter.

Tip of the cap to Chris Robshaw.

Didn't get to watch that one, seeing how it went I'm not sure I want to now...

Three more wins needed.

Disjointed performance for no apparent reason. Coaches and players can learn from that and be glad that we won a game that in another time, we'd have lost.

I've been impressed in recent game with our on pitch leadership - today it seemed a bit missing - as if things aren't going to hand, you surely look to your set piece domination and keep it simple?

Still - I think the coaching team and the players are up for learning the lessons - as said above, I'll take those 5 points and be grateful.

Odd game in that we really saw nothing much of the backs ball in hand - as if our alignments or something weren't quite in order. Again - if its not working - we need to have another strand to our bow, on occasions

2nd with 1 to play. Who wouldn't have taken that after the loss to Saints at the Ricoh at the start of the year when we were about 9th?

And there’s me about to criticise Jack for giving penalties away......

He is a very special player and I know nothing!

I'll take that, a wins a win.

I'll throw a curve ball... I wouldn't be surprised if Quins defence shut down our attack. More so because one of their coaches is very good friends with one of our coaches from League days....

I’m actually glad we won fugly today.

As others have said, it’s best to get that win and move on.
But, I think it will help focus minds to the games ahead.
This game could be a blessing in disguise.
It’s instilled the belief that if we play right until the end, we can still win these games.

Heads didn’t drop.
The bench is strong.
Silly errors can be cleaned up.
And our strategy and on-field decision making can be adjusted.

Probably the best type of game we could ask for before Exeter and beyond.
If we had win easily by 30 points, I dint think we would have learnt anything.

But I think we learnt loads from this game with a young side.
