Unread Messages

I appreciate I might be simple but how do you spot the unread messages in a topic?

On all other forums I go on they are either marked new, are highlighted or a different colour. 

All messages appear to be the same.

Advice please.

Click where it says New next to the topic, it'll take you straight to the first unread message.

Do you see the New text at the end of the topic title? Or is it when you select it, it just doesn't take you to the latest unread message?

It takes me to the thread.

Not identifying unread messages is a negative.  I frequently have no idea of the last time I was online.

For me, when I visit the main topic list, I see the NEW icon. If you click just that icon, it opens the thread and then scrolls down to the first item I have not read. and thus, it works for me.

Do you see this text at the end of the address bar when you click the New link? .msg0#new

Do you let the page load fully, or start scrolling beforehand?  Could just be an issue with ipads or the browser you're using, which browser is it.  VV will be able to check for compatibility issues with it and the forum software.

Works fine for me. Samsung so. Using chrome

Testing on an Ipad emulator on ios10 (professional tool, not just some amateur thing) it works ok.

However, none of our working fines really helps .  Any more info for us Fats?

Can you get me a screen capture of the thread lists when you know there are new messages? I'll see if anyone else has had the issue on a different forum.
