It seems SISU are banking on Wasps being desperate for their paltry rent money.

I guess SISU can see a potential opportunity to screw over a business rival even in a global pandemic......such nice people!!!

why the hostility? right now we need income if that means renting the pitch out to CCFC then i don't see the issue. as long as the agreements are watertight giving them chance of moving the goal posts then take their money.

especially if that income in the long run allowed us to change the seating colours, wouldn't that be poetic justice.

why the hostility?

because of the previous behavior of SISU

and there in lies the issue. Despite repeatedly losing their court cases & Wasps repeatedly having no case to answer, there are still legal cases on going. Water tight agreements do not exist when one of the parties seems to have Litigation as part of its business model.

BTW, just noticed the Freudian slip in your comment Covkid  :)

Pure speculation, but does this potentially mean that some people are in the know regards the EU complaint?

Could be or SISU may have (finally) agreed to indemnify Wasps for any damages resultant from the EC ruling.

"The going rate for renting a stadium is £2million a year. But seeing as it's you, we're going to need that up front..."

When did Wasps LEGALLY buy the Ricoh? As soon as 6 years has gone (which must be around now), the Statute of Limitations on civil action expires.

Their action isn't against us now though, it's against the council. It's just if the council are found to be in the wrong, we're very likely to suffer, so it's costing us to defend ourselves.
