Well done Jack.

Other than that, quite a slug fest.
The backs look clueless - other than that last minute try.

Is Farrell really the best option we have at 10 in this country?
Imagine how much worse he’s going to be with no club rugby next season!

I thought Launch was outstanding. His work rate was ridiculous, he took 90% of our line out balls, his tackle count must be amongst the highest in the team and he was winning turn-overs. Played the full 80 minutes too.

Dobby didn’t disgrace himself either with not that much time to impress

Who was MoM?

George - hat trick of tries as hooker, who else could it be?

(And that wasn't meant sarcastically)

Correct. The fat cheat just sat at the back and dropped to the floor. Everyone else did the work.

Presumably Dan will be getting a telling off for showing initiative and scoring?

Dan threw one slightly dodgy pass that golden boy Faz spilled so that’s probably his last cap knowing Eddie Jones

And as for that Willis boy- how dare he show initiative, win ball and score plus smile all the way through.

Can’t have that spreading to the rest of the team

Found this on Planet Rugby - can't disagree

For all the efficiency, the lack of willingness England show to play on the edge of the pitch is holding them back. Top sides will field their kicking game with ease, quality runners will return even the most accurate of those kicks with interest. What is missing from the English game is an ability or a willingness to up tempo, play with width and play with emotion.

Eddie Jones often talks about playing rugby the English way. Judging on today’s performance, he’s referring to the manner of sides in the mid 2000s rather than anything like the precision running and unstructured creativity we see from sides like Wasps and Bristol in the Premiership.

Players are picked on the way they play rugby for their clubs and it’s an old adage that you should play the same way at international level. However, the pre-planned manner that England approach each game is preventing that transition. By all means, play the English way, but play it the way it is now, not like it was 15 years ago.

It's a good article

Elsewhere, posters have suggested that Jones is "scarred" by the RWC Final mauling up front and is aiming to build a "SA Style" pack. The main issue for me and others is that looks a little like "fighting the last war"

Watching the NZ- Arg game - the breakdown and game in general was reffed and so played as if the Laws were being applied as written. This in turn meant that the breakdown especially, needs quick thinking and fast legged forwards who can secure ball at the dozens of breakdowns in a game - rather than concentrating on the set piece.

What England lack too often is the ability to switch to a different tactical approach as the game indicates. And Sat was an opportunity to try out approaches beyond the EA's play book at lineout.....

I agree about the three tries.  No real credit to George that the tries were scored from rolling maul.

In fairness to George, I think he tried to make that point too
