Lee Blackett has named his Wasps side to make the trip to Kingsholm on Saturday and play Gloucester.

There are six changes to the starting 15 that beat Bristol on the opening weekend.

Sam Wolstenholme will make his first Premiership start at scrum half, as he replaces Ben Vellacott, who takes a place amongst the substitutes.

Jacob Umaga misses out due to a knock picked up on Sunday, his absence sees Jimmy Gopperth switch to fly half and Michael Le Bourgeois take his place at inside centre.

Brad Shields is also side-lined after the round one game and his place at number eight goes to match-winner Tom Willis.

Jack Willis has been retained by England for their game against Wales, alongside Joe Launchbury and Dan Robson. Jack Willis is replaced by Alfie Barbeary at blindside flanker.

Likewise, Will Rowlands and Matteo Minozzi are still away with Wales and Italy respectively.

In Launchbury’s absence, Thomas Young will captain the team once more at openside flanker.

In the front row Ben Harris comes in for Simon McIntyre at loosehead prop and Tom Cruse joins him at hooker, as Tommy Taylor swaps to the bench.

Amongst the replacements Charlie Atkinson and Ben Morris will look to make their first appearances since the away win at Saracens in September.

I think that's about right, glad Atkinson is on the bench, Wolstenholme starting is a big call, but I think he's quite promising.

Obviously I'd prefer starting Willis, Robson, Minozzi etc. But it gives us a chance to showcase player depth. Here's hoping they all have a good game.

I think it’s going to be close.

Concerned about Thorley. We probably have the stronger bench?

Cips was a late absentee at the Ricoh at the start of last season’s turnaround. Coincidence?

Happy with that overall. Glad to see Harris in. SH is a big call but why not? SW looked zippier v Bristol.

Could've sworn he played against us when we last went to Gloucester, and definitely the season before that (first season at Gloucester)

Good team for our bogey venue, very happy with it. Gloucester are also weaker than I expected. Time to end the run.

Thought Vellacott had a below average game against Bris, so, bold call this but a good one.

Slightly concerned not to see Shrek yet, not listed as injured I hope his confidence hasn't taken too big a hit.

He crucified us at the Ricoh in Oct 18. If I remember correctly, he and Ben work a try between them, down the LHS of the park.

Is that a typo for Sirker or do we have a big ugly green bloke on the books?

Oh sorry. It's Ohgre...

Ohgre -> ogre -> Shrek...

He hasn't re-surfaced yet after his over-throw in the final. He looked mortified at the time, really felt for him, and for Launchers as it wasn't the best call. I'd have normally expected him to bench ahead of Morris here as back-row cover - at a minimum, so I hope his confidence hasn't been shot. Maybe Blackers has just given him some time off.
