Tbf to newcastle , had game plan to beat sale and stuck to it. Sale you would expect to up their game but totally off.
Newly promoted and want to stay up - what do you expect?

Perversely I quite enjoyed that. Graham and George outstanding for Falcons. Sale were dreadful - inaccurate, sloppy and complacent. Nothing to fear from either of these two.

Admire your confidence Shugs, but when Sale click they can be formidable (my memory of 25/08/20 still lingers) and if Newcastle continue this form they will antagonise and frustrate quite a few teams. I think this season will produce a fair few surprise results.

When I think of boring, the game at AP on New Years Day 2012, takes some beating.

It’s bad karma, but I do enjoy the will he or won’t he implode post-match interviews with Diamond.

There’s a lot to like/admire about Sale but they’re equally easy to dislike - perhaps the latter is more to do with them being a bogey team for us.

Was a good result for my little accumulator, although I’m nervous on second thoughts about Saints v Quins where I have Quins to win.

Spoiler
Transpires Saints, by a long way.  Can’t believe a squad that has such talent with a skilled Coach is struggling so much
