Rowland trying to help his new team.
Nah, he was fed up that Joe went off for a rest and he didn't ;)

Indeed in the final minutes his choice was catch it and have a 50m run or slap it down and walk off, correct choice!

BP win away, I'll take that all day long.

On a tangent, I rather enjoyed the commentator. There were echoes of Bill McLaren in his voice and I thought he brought his co-commentators in well.

Oh, and beating Ryan was an additional pleasure.

Nice to see Oghre getting some time at hooker and performing well. There's some real competition there.

Returning internationals made the difference. Robson, Willis, Rowlands outstanding. Some silly mistakes and I think we made it more difficult than it should have been but 5 points away cannot be sneezed at. Our props look really good and give us a great platform. Line out better with Cruse but still needs refining. Thought Atkinson looked good. Bit worried about Jimmy's kicking. Underrated performer of the night - Bassett. And worth saying again - how good is Willis!

Me too regarding the win, a BP win in Wales is welcome, we looked good but sloppy, comfortably the better side. Dan was immense. Nice to win again, I am content, not delirious but content!
It was fine when I left it.....

Pretty much bang on. I'm very excited to see Atkinson develop, he's already promising

Basset is turning into a very important player for us.
His tackling as come on so much he is looking to go in for it now.
What a difference from 12 months ago.

What planet was Narraway on 'we are dominating the set piece and need to turn this dominance into points'

I am happy with 5 points away from home. Given that BPs will be crucial in the format of the competition, an excellent start. Plenty still to work but if can repeat the result next week, then we are 50% of the way to the 1/4s. Looking at the other results, so far, the heavyweights are already flexing their muscles.

West had Jarvis on toast. One of the few times I've actually wanted the 10 for the yellow to be over so he could come back on!!
