Sad to read the announcement. I hope he gets a good contract with another club if that is what he wants. It seems he is still in the England fold so there must be clubs with an interest.

After we announced signing Brad Shields, with the success of Nizaam and the emergence of Jack (and Tom) Willis, I think the cards were very much on the table. Sad though. I'm not sure if James ever entirely recovered from his toe injury.

Very sorry to hear this - I’d hoped he could finish his career with us.

He may not be a one-club man, but it feels that way.

I'm very sad about this actually.
Felt he still had a lot to offer. As someone put on the DW site, il clap until my hands hurt on his final appearance for us.

He does have a lot to offer, just not so much to us. Our game doesn't match his talents.
