Biaritz try.
They got their stuff together for that rolling maul.
Well deserved.

Jacob playing well, despite one missed touch.

If ever Alfie was confident of overcoming his injury, it was reaching for the line then.
But was it a knock on?

Thoughts at half time are Dan looks sharp and Atkinson ball in hand looks very very good. Not paying enough attention to give more of an analysis, but our opposition look poor. Definitely explains their league position...

If we keep focused this could be a lot more, destroying them at the scrum and if we keep it a few phases gaps open quickly. But easy to take the foot off when it looks a done job.

I’m still weighing up whether Robson or Porter should be starting.
Dan still takes his time at the back of rucks, when it could really open up opposition if the ball fizzed out.

Having said that, as the half rolled on, he did get a bit quicker…and certainly was razor sharp to feed the ball to Kibirige who played a beautiful deft kick on the outside of his right foot, playing on the left wing, allowing Dan to race through, take the ball and score.

Alfie has got these guys on toast!
Steffon Armitage is probably reminiscing back to the days he was young, because he’s chasing shadows with Alfie. Only one winner.
But the forwards as a whole have been superb. Really intense.
Joe having a superb game. Tom West too.
Seeing John Mitchell in the stands…jeez, he looked like he was itching to be on the pitch.

It seems Wasps have targeted this game to make sure everyone is back up to speed as a solid unit.
Previous weeks we have welcomed back players from injuries and look disjointed.
Tonight has been much more of a team performance.

Really impressed so far.
Not perfect, but in front of a partisan crowd in a foreign field….they’re doing really well so far.

Come on boys.

If we take our foot of the gas then Biaritz could easily get back in the game.

FINGERS STRAIGHT INTO TOM WEST’S EYES.

The referee completely missed it.
Terrible.

Looks like we’re not going to bother in the 2nd half. An alarming drop off.

Get hold of the ball and go through the phases, really poor 2nd half, so many penalties
