CBS half year results

First half of 2022 sees a huge profit rise for CBS as they record six month profits of £158m. Stadium sponsorship is obviously suiting them!

They have just had a 3 day outage of all online services including cards, ATMs, direct debits etc, as yet unexplained, so some might say also another good fit for Wasps!

Forgive my stupidity, but how does record profits for the arena's sponsor suggest anything at all regarding Wasps, be it good, bad, or indifferent? (Unless I'm misunderstanding the point of your post, which is a distinct possibility!)

It doesn’t mean anything significant for Wasps really. Only that you’d assume CBS are happy and that the stadium sponsorship is something of a contributory factor for them. Just a cursory interest given our connection with them.

I half read the title and assumed CBS = CBS Arena, hence my enthusiasm. I still think this benefits Wasps (albeit indirectly).

Christ, if the Arena was turning a £158m half yearly profit, then I think any worries over the bond would soon be laid to rest!
