Listed as a hooker on the wasps official

Good to see this updated but there was very few announcements of u18 promotions this year, only a few announcements if I remember correctly for Asher Opoku being promoted as well as Turrisi and Feyi-Waboso and Craven signing.
And Nearchou was originally detailed as having extended his contract in the senior academy rather than being promoted to the senior squad like Hartley was.
Our press has definitely fallen away a bit recently and I hope this picks up again just for fusspots like me with this sort of stuff.

Regarding the academy list, a few have seemingly been let go who looked promising eg in Alex Pleasants, he’s played Scottish age groups so wonder if he’ll be up there soon.
Also more uni contracted players gone, the scheme just again does not seem to have worked out for anyone over the years (apart from Rowlands) with this year, off the top of my head, Pichardie, Jude Williams, Florenstein, Eckersley and Monye no longer listed.

At least the academy list on the website seems to have been updated, as has the senior (apart from DeChaves still on it).

Alex Pleasants has joined Leeds Tykes

With a name like that I think you've got to be good!  Think we should refer to him as Thor! :)

Cameron Anderson has joined London Scottish (https://londonscottish.com/players/anderson), and was in their squad that beat Edinburgh on Friday night.

Yeah good luck to him, just never really got the chance either from not being quite there yet, injuries when there might have been a chance of selection and then covid interruptingsoem competitions that would have provided gametime for squad players. Is definitely good enough to get some gametime in the championship and hopefully he can forge a decent career for himself.

Wonder which position he’ll end up settling in? Came through at 13 but was being moved back to 15 more.
Good luck Cam!
