I just wonder the mindset of the players now.
Are they just taking the first thing they can get and potentially being under their value or can they potentially wait for the best deal before then looking for a new deal next season.

I imagine Jack and Launchbury etc can wait a while but for the Porters and Hislops might not be able to be fussy at all.
On the flip side, clubs might just not be able to offer them anything much

Imagine they take what they can get for this season then once the wheeling and dealing for next season starts look for something bigger and better then, which of course will have a knock on effect on other players too.

I expect the financial circumstances of the individual players will have a lot to do with it.

I imagine his appendicitus (and potential appendectomy?) might be limiting Tom at the minute.

I've not heard even a rumour about Umaga which is quite surprising.
Others surprise me more. Robson, West, Oghre, Stooke, Odogwu, Spink.

I cried at the weekend when I read the RP- there seemed to be many rumours about the other front rowers but nothing about West.
I’m a soppy so and so I know- my husband was looking at me funny (he supports Tigers, I didn’t expect him to understand!!)

I too had been wondering about Tom West.  Presumably Tom Willis is still recuperating from his appendectomy.

West will have no issue getting something - one of the best scrummaging LH’s in the league.

Well that’s going to feel odd. With the smaller league there will only be a couple of games per weekend not televised so we’re going to see plenty of our players in different colours. Seeing out the end of my BT contract and still can’t bring myself to watch at the minute though.

Porter on the bench for Bristol.

Bacon lines up for Ampthill as well as Tunney and Bell playing for their seconds, although haven’t heard anything official on moves for them, guess they’re just happy to keep playing rugby

I was a watcher of every game - but I really can't be bothered now. I only watched Exeter last w/e as I wanted to see the EA's lose....oh well....
