I may have missed this, but does tomorrow's deadline have a specific time attached, say 18:00, or is it until the end of the day - therefore 23:59?

I imagine everyone involved in the background will have a good idea of where things are and whether the club have successfully met all demands. But, for us fans, it would be nice to have an idea roughly when we will hear the news (good or bad).

That is the closing date for submissions so unless there is a leak or somebody is very confident we are unlikely to hear until the RFU has deliberated, cogitated and decided!

I cannot imagine for one moment that this deadline will be kept by new Wasps, nor enforced by the RFU.

There are way too many factors causing issues.

I still think it is way too late to sort anything workable for next season.

Ah OK I understand now! So it will be a while longer after tomorrow that a decision is made. I see why there is concern for the start of next season now and agree with that concern as I'm sure the RFU won't have urgency.

I'm assuming then that no one will be promoted at all from the Championship this year. Ealing haven't been approved and are the team at the top (though Jersey are close behind). The two approved clubs are no-where near Ealing/Jersey in the Championship table.

I know Ealing (well they?re owner) has serious cash but they?ve been launching what looks like a recruitment drive for the prem. This will be a real blow.
