Given 2 clubs have gone bust you could argue English rugby is already worse off!

But, how many players, at ?30k a year, will walk (run, hobble) away, either to other clubs or to a new profession, and will those left be enough to make the sides any better than equivalent to an average English Championship side? ?30k sets the bar very low.

They basically have to go back to being amateurs. Lots will move and if they are to have any sort of international side they need to abolish their cap rule.
