I've just seen it and that was my reaction. Can't blame him given the state of rugby at the moment and the potential money on offer. I wish him every success.

And, other than a nice holiday, a beautiful wife, a big pile of money, where did that get him?

Was it maybe the other way round?  I seem to remember that he got very little playing time, and I felt he was being overlooked quite often?  Maybe it wasn't good man-management on Wasps part?

well the stats show that in the 2018/19 season, the one where Wade left, he started every game & played the full 80 in all of them.

The season before he started in 25 out of 28 (only not playing at all in one game) games & he averaged 74 minutes playing time.

Now he may have fallen out of love with rugby & lack of England selection may have been a factor but as far as Wasps selection went, he was playing plenty.

Will he struggle as Christian did to make the grade? I see wide receiver/running back ss his options. Probably needs to add some kgs of bulk as well.

It's a hard road for those who have never played it before.

I with him well and a sack load of luck - he will need it.

American Football is the sort of game you need to be playing from very young to excel at, and to be at the top of a very tall pyramid, as these players are, no way.

Just seen that Harry Mallinder is also joining the gateway, he is looking at a kicker/punter position.

A bit under the radar after LRZ announcement.

What happened to him at Saints? He was the next big thing, but I see he ended up in Japan. That obviously didnt work out.
Would be sad if a player that talented ended up  "just" kicking in the NFL.

That said, he's probably more likely to succeed as a kicker than LRZ. Far less complexity involved

Looking at the saints forum, it seems injuries were his downfall.
