Confirmed: Shaun Edwards Not Joining Wigan

Some suggest it's Shaun going back on his word and others suggest it's Wigan's own fault for announcing him so early without formal agreement.
Either way, it'll be interesting to see his next move.

Given Shaun hasn't worked with anyone other than Gatland, staying with Wales & working with Privac is going to be interesting (as would working with Dai if that came to pass)
I can't see it being a success but you never know!

Maybe Gatland will announce something soon - with Edwards following? He's not going to Wigan so I'm sure his next move will still be in Union.

I think we all need to bear in mind that the Wigan issue shows us that until he signs something he doesn't consider himself committed.  So as no-one has said he has signed for Wales I still consider the matter open.

It was back when he was part timing at Wales. Didn't seem to work out with Irish. I think he went full time with Wales soon after.

I do wonder whether he is viewed as a bit of loose cannon & a bit "difficult"?
He only seems to have been successful when working with Gats and I've heard some interesting quotes from Gatland re the kind of bloke Edwards is.

as a side note, it could explain why he got on so well with Cips, kindred spirits maybe?
