It's always been pretty much a done deal, but today it was made a certainty.  Irish beat Richmond making it mathemtically impossible for them not to get promoted.

On the other side of the coin - Leeds Carnegie players are threatening to not play against Doncaster due to not being paid.

Will there ever be a non PRL club able to survive the jump to the premiership?

I can't see CVC wanting to help out the Championship with investment and the RFU are too buss wasting their millions on  overpriced costruction projects but still want promotion to take place?
